Convert object transformation to 0

I want to transfor an object and set the current trasformations as the new 0
Meaning if I move and object in the axis Y 20 units, I want that new positon to be the new 0
The only way I can do it is exporting and importing as OBJ, but there is a way of doing it without it?
I dont use "memorize" transformations as it yert remember the older 0 and will give the wrong results when trying to use tools as trasnfer utiliy as the trasnformations will be ignored.
