G8F to G3F Hair Converter executes on 0 hair items

I'm having some trouble getting this converter to work properly. I've got the directory loaded up, hair selected, but each time I run the script it throws me a message stating it executed successfully on 0 items. My goal is to convert the dForce EXcela hair from G8 to G3

In the script log it says the preset loaded multiple items and it aborts the conversion. Is there anyone who might know how to troubleshoot this? I've included screencaps of the script and log.

I highly doubt that the hair converter works on dForce hair.

You don't need any converters to use G8 hair on G3 and/or G3 hair on G8.

Back home, and here is the procedure for using G8 hair on G3 and the other way around without any additional utilities.

1. Check that you don't have the figure selected
2. Load the hair into the scene
3. Select the hair and navigate to "Edit->Figure->Scene Identification"
4. Change "Preferred Base" from "/Genesis 8/Female" to "/Genesis 3/Female" (Push the icon with three dots and select from the list)
5. Accept and fit the hair to the figure normally

G3 and G8 are close enough for this to work, the same doesn't work with Genesis1/2 -> Genesis3/8
