Does generation 5 or 6 (Genesis and Genesis 2) hair fit on Michael 4?

Genesis 1 and 2 hair won't conform to M4, but you can generally use them by positioning them manually so they're in the right place in default pose, then parenting them to his head.
"M4 for G2M" does indeed allow you to use M4 skins on G2M, and also gives you a clone to autofit M4 clothes to G2M. You will need to re-save your M4 material presets in .duf format to use them on G2M.
The batch converter does the re-saving for you: you select a bunch of M4 material presets in pz2, ds or dsa format (for example all material options for a character), and it will convert them into .duf presets. You will still need to own "M4 for G2M" to use the converted files on G2M.
