I load the HiveWire Horse into Poser 9 but it doesn't show up in the categories. Why ?

Hi,

I just bought the HiveWire Horse and I have installed it in Poser 9 subdirectory as the instructions tell me to do.

So why isn't there a link to this horse in Poser 9 showing up. I can see it on my hard drive and I can import the obj
into Poser 9 BUT it just isn't showing up in the library or category.

Why is this happening ? I would appreciate any ideas as to how to get it so I can use it in Poser 9.

Edited: I am working with the Hivewire Horse now but even if the product is DAZ3d it isn't being shown in the library listings.
I installed Diner Food 1 Just not there. I can see it on my hard drive, I can bring items into the work space as objects
but it just won't list it.

He is working fine for me in Poser Pro 2014. I put him in his own Runtime and just added it to the Poser library. Make sure you didn't install the DAZ Studio version by mistake.

Thank you but the one I installed is definitely Poser. But that was a good idea to check that.

Nothing of DAZ3d is showing up in the listing. Didn't mean to just say I was having problems with just HiveWire horse
Nothing I am installing is showing up in the library or category listing.

I've installed Poser 9 several times with no results. I reinstalled the products, nothing.

I am glad you have that HiveWire Horse working in your Poser Pro 2014.

I had to reformat my hard drive. So everything is fresh. When I installed Poser 9 it didn't work.
So I bumped around online and discovered I had to installed a higher version of Flash Player and Java.
Flash is what makes the library listing or the category listing is my understanding.

Can you tell me what flash version you are running ? Maybe I installed the wrong one for Poesr 9
and this is why it don't work so good ?

Did you add your library to Poser's runtimes?

Sorry you are having problems with Poser... I remember having problems when I was running it on my old laptop... but it seems to run great on this desktop. I have Flash 14... just installed early this month. Since you reinstalled Poser you might want to see if you need to re-apply any service releases for Poser 9.

I had a problem late last year with P9 when my entire library didn't load. Turned out it happened the day after Internet Explorer upgraded itself from ver. 10 to ver. 11. I went searching for a fix, and wound up resetting my computer to the previous day (before the IE upgrade), and then locked down IE10 so it would never upgrade again. I never use IE as a browser, so wasn't a problem.

A few days later, SM put out a new Service Release to fix the issue. I believe the latest is SR3.2, so check to make sure you have that Service Release installed. If not, you can get it here  --> Poser 9 Updates

Also, be sure to "refresh" your library. I often have to do that when I install something new.
