How to paint the toes of genesis and Victoria 6 models

Hello again everyone,

I have a quick question. How do I paint the toes (toenails) of my Genesis 2 and Victoria 6 models. Does it require the foot morph thingy I saw somewhere? And while I'm here please allow me to ask about the "reality" plugin for daz. Does it come with Daz Studio and I am simply not finding it?

Is this something a beginner should worry about or should that come much later? I do tend to want to go too fast sometimes...LOL.

Thank you all for your kind replies and your time. Please don't be offended if I don't respond to your answers one by one. I am terribly busy writing and just want to say Thanks ahead of time. Believe me I appreciate everyone who takes their time to help a noob!

Have a beautiful day of Light

Danny Bright

To paint the toes you just need to apply the paint to the right areas of an image file and then apply it to the nails in the Surfaces pane - I can't recall where the templates are but for your own use you can use one of the existing limb maps as a guide (but remember that you can't share the results of modifying an existing map with others - the renders you make with it are safe, however).

This is how I do it...

Go to surface, navigate tree to get to Genesis 3 > Sufaces > Fingernails > subsuface scattering > base settings > then change the subsurface colour to anything you want (255 0 0 is red)

Oh and the diffuse colour too (under fingernails above) so it works when rendered!
