Looking for Handy Shortcuts
Here are some things that would make my animating life easier…if I knew how to do them:
--Make All Visible: I can right click in the scene window and "select" all. I'd like to be able to make all items visible. In a complete cityscape scene, some items within groups might be turned off and it would be great to just make everything visible.
--Add Item to Scene in current view: I can add items…and I can merge a custom character into a scene, but they always show up at 000 coordinates. In a big city scene, that can be blocks away from my camera. I'd love them to show up in the current view. Any way to do that?
--Keyboard camera shortcuts: I hate scrolling to adjust the view. Gives me carpel tunnel. I'd love a key control that would move the camera, pan/tilt the camera, and zoom the camera.
Feel free to add more items to what could be a hand "Make my life easier" thread.

You answered your first need all on your own... Only thing I know that works as many sets just built that way for reasons.
The HOLD ALT and HOLD Left Mouse Button DRAG from content to viewport will load to the Camera View but all items still load at (Y=0) no way around that.
For extra Camera Views I just do Perspective View. Select a item from a long view and then Center on it. I then set the camera to to the real View I want and do Create> New Camera with the option of Apply Active Viewport Options (Perspective View) Pop new camera right where I wanted it.
