Janessa is for the original Genesis, not Genesis 2 Female, which is why she's not showing in your smart content. You can find her through the content library pane > Daz Studio Format > Library > People > Genesis > Characters > OziChick > Janessa.
If you want to use Janessa with Genesis 1, you only need V4 and M4 Shapes for Genesis. The Genesis 1 base figure is included in the free content with DAZ Studio.
thanks guys for your quick replies. Sorry im new to daz3d, i probably should watch a few tutorials before posting these questions.
i think purchasing the Victoria 4.2 Starter Bundle for $9.95 is the best option.
thanks again

To transfer her morphs to G2F, you'll need GenX2 and the GenX2 Genesis2 plugin.

To use just the textures on G2F, you'll need the Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Female product.

You can of course bypass all of this by just using the original Genesis figure, which is in DIM named Genesis Starter Essentials.
so your saying this product is un-usable without

and i need the above to even open Janessa file up?
or are these files what i need first?
If you want to use Janessa with Genesis 1, you only need V4 and M4 Shapes for Genesis. The Genesis 1 base figure is included in the free content with DAZ Studio.
If you want to use Janessa with V4.2, you will need both Victoria 4.2 Base and the Victoria 4.2 Morphs++. There also is Victoria 4.2 Starter Bundle that includes both.
You don't need to buy both the V4 and Genesis 1 required products unless you want to use Janessa with both Genesis 1 and V4.2.
What you need depends on what figure you want to use. Victoria 4.2, Genesis, and Genesis 2 Female are three different figures.
You're using Genesis 2 Female in your initial screenshot. Janessa will not work with her without the addons I mentioned.
Natively, Janessa can only be used with V4.2 and Genesis 1.
