What do I do with DSON Importer for Poser?

I've been away from this stuff for a few years but used to be fairly good at it. But things change. I've installed DAZ Studio Pro 4.6 and the Genesis 2 Starter Kit. I have Poser Pro 2014 installed and told DAZ Install Manager where my Poser installation is before downloading and installing DAZ content and DSON Importer for Poser. In Poser, under Scripts/ I see DSON Importer Support, so it seems something got put in a reasonable place. Now what? I assume Poser wants more info about the DAZ content. How do I do this? Do I just aim Poser at the DAZ Runtime directory? Somehow aim DSON Importer at Poser directory? Then what? If there is a DAZ Importer for Poser Readme somewhere, I've yet to find it. Instruction manuals are sooooooo handy. Thanks.

Yes, point Poser at the My DAZ 3D Library folder (or whatever you have |DIM set to use for content).

Thanks. Works. Is there any potential to make unprovided CF files, or does that require the original source? (Not tracked them down enough to understand yet.)

With DS yes - make sure it's saved as .duf if it isn't, then in the Content Library pane's option menu (lined button in the top corner, or right-click the tab) select Create Poser Companion Files. It will open with the current folder showing in the Content Library listed, as long as the content has metadata the only change you need to make is to the Relative Path for the Destination to tell it where to put the Poser files.

Thanks. That's cool and I'll give it a try.
