in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I don't know if this is the right forum but i am wanting to upgrade my system to get faster renders . Right now i have a 9th gen coffee lake i5 and a gtx 1650 card i know i need a better graphics card but i know that renders tend to be cpu heavy i have a nice budget so i was wondering if the Daz would work well with the threadripper by Amd or would i be better off going with a intel 9900k. any advice would be appreacited .I even thought about a dual processor setup but want more info before i invest that much.

    As long as your scenes fit into its memory an nVidia GPU will do better than a CPU (a Threadripper may match some lower end GPUs, but costs more than a high-end GPU).

    Most oof the renders i do run between 7-9 gig.in memory i am waiting ti get a 3080 now just dont know if i will get it in the first wave.
