    Daz Studio 4.6 pro 4.6.3.52.

    Thank you!

Its a plugin; it goes in your DAZ 3D/DAZStudio4 directory (there should already be a resources directory).

Once installed you'll have an entry in the startup screen ('home page') to run Scene Builder (if you turned off the startup screen - edit -> preferences -> startup and click on 'show home page'

Thank you very much for clarifying this.

Since it's a plugin, i'm assuming that it's fine, and won't create issues with other content if it isn't installed? I notice there's some content in the My Library content folder which says "Scene Builder", does this have dependencies upon the .json file?

Just trying to get everything running smoothly and without dependency load errors, and with minimal bloat / stuff i won't use!

    Thank you again!

The .json file is essentially a scripted menu that loads the 'scene builder' subset files from the other directories. When you launch scene builder you get a menu to select a figure, an environment, and a lighting set - and then scene builder loads your selections for you, providing a starter scene.

It falls somewhere between the guided lesson strips at the one end and the ready-to-render scenes at the other.
