    As it was.
One day we rode to the lake Turgoyak, and along the way I noticed a natural swamp. This proved very useful, because I was asked to do a swamp. Such a gift of nature...
After some time I came back here with my son and a friend to collect materials. But we were not ready for a huge number of mosquitoes. Nevertheless, we were able to bring home a useful material.
All the plants were still alive! :)

That distorted water reflectivity is just utterly beautiful...

I like this very much :) Thanks as well for the story, there is a swamp not far from where I live, and I am very familiar with the mosquitoes lol. Will this be a stand-alone model? -Cathy

This looks amazing - that water surface looks extremely real - wonderful in a horrible kinda way (heh I've stuck my hand in water like that 2nd picture before, it's pretty gross). Looks perfect for setting up a nature scene, and equally perfect for expressing the mysterious spooky flavor that permeates a swamp. -Cathy

Aw, come on- throw in some mosquitoes as props!
(Had to kid you. I live in Florida and HATE those little buggers. Around dusk, it's "get inside" time for about an hour. )

Your photos and the swamp are really neat! Looking forward to it.
