How do I uninstall Daz 4.6 from a Windows 8 laptop?

Daz Studio does NOT appear in the control panel PROGRAMS & FEATURES list.

It does not appear when I try using Crap Cleaner.

There is no apparent way to uninstall it and quite frankly I find that infuriating.

I love Daz. I'm finally able to use it. I'm having fun.

BUT - I don't want THAT VERSION on that particular computer anymore.

Can anyone tell me how I can get rid of it?

Please?

  • How dfid you install? If through Install Manager that is how you uninstall too. Installing a new version (using the same method) will also remove the old first.

Thanks for replying. It was ages ago and I really don't remember. It wasn't via IM or Daz Central. It was originally from a CD I think and then I updated online or something.

I've tried downloading Daz Central to that computer but DC seems like an absolute travesty of a thing. It just won't open. It "encounters an error".

I would be very happy to install another copy of the current Daz on my laptop. That's what I was originally hoping to do when I got sidetracked by this disgusting refusal of 4.6 to be deleted.

Is there a way of installing the current version without Daz Central because seriously, Daz Central just isn't a going concern on my particular laptop.

You can still install DS with DIM or manually, no need for DazCentral.
