Howdy;

Question:

As far as i understand the newest Daz Studio 4.6 Pro is a free application.

1. I need to know the exact link to download it

2. There are two possiblilities to install it...with the install manager...and manually.
if i install it manually will the newest Genesis 2 be included?...if not...is there a way to manually install the newest Genesis?...
if i let the install manager install it will the Genesis 2 be included?...

I guess my real question is...is Genesis 2 included in the newest Daz Studio?...i mean the base figure?...

I am very confused about all this!....please help withy some clarity...

Thanks for your time.

    2 of the products included with the Daz Studio Pro are Genesis Starter Essentials and Genesis 2 Starter Essentails which will give you the base figures for both.
    As for downloading, I find it easier to use the DIM rather than do it manually.
    Hope this helps

    Edited to add the link which I forgot the first time

    You 'buy' DAZ Studio through the Store the same way as any other item.

    When you have completed the free purchase, there will be a link in your My Account > Product Library area where you can download DS4.6 Pro, or you can use the install manager (DIM) which would be the best way.

    Make sure that you also install Genesis Starter Essentials AND Genesis 2 Starter Essentials as well as the Default Lights and Shaders for DAZ Studio and the Subsurface Shader Base too

    Basically, when you type "DAZ Studio 4.6" in your Product Library, there will be a page for DS with all the items included. Feel free to install them manually (you can ommit everything that has "PoserCF" since you're going to use DS, I assume), just in the same directory (other items will allow creating separate directories). If I was asked to give a tip, I'd say - download all Interactive Lessons now as they are free. It will let you have an easy start plus a nice pile of content you'd have to pay for if you wanted to get them separately :).

    If you haven't "bought" DS yet, this is the form you have to fill in (don't worry about the newsletter, it won't flood you, but will come in handy for offers): https://www.daz3d.com/get_studio.
