Help with lighting please.

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone had a solution to lighting bouncing off the ceiling. I don't want it there. I know thats what Iray does but is there a solution to this issue ? I bought the Iray light probe kit to help me but it seems to have the same problem..

    You cannot prevent any light bouncing off the ceiling. You can cut it down by using emissivbe lights that are one sided.Just create a plane (or the like) and in the emissive settings just turn off two sided. You may need to flip the plane to get it oriented away from the ceiling obviously.

    But in order to properly light an indoor scene you're going to have light bouncing off all the curfaces.

    You could render once without the ceiling, save as PNG or Tiff, then once with and in an image editor place the without on top of the with

    Turn off the specularity in the surfaces tab and the light won't bounce.
