Black Screen when doing Iray Preview

I know that I must be doing something very silly... but I get nothing except a totally black screen when I do an Iray preview... what's up with that? :P

    Edit:Ok... seems like it happened after I loaded a scene with its own skydome and I didn't have any lights within the dome... neither a distant light nor Sun-Sky worked of course. Will have to try deleting the skydome.

    That will be the case will all 3DL skydomes.
