Iray stopped working out of the blue

Hey all, so im rendering an animation, and after a couple of frames rendering stops, i check the logfile and it says no worker to render with (not allowed to fall back to CPU, iv turned that off)
So i close daz3d, open it again, try it again, preparing scene for ever (same in log file, no worker to render with.) i notice somewhere in the logfile that it wants to allocate 600gig to the graphics card......

i fire up the beta, load the scene, and rendering it fine....

Whats going on? Any1? thanks

Try rendering a different scene. If that works its an issue with that scene. If not then it's probably time to reinstall Daz.

  • Thanks for your reply.

Other scenes are fine, but there must be something off in daz, since the beta renders the scene fine, while the released daz wont render it..

  • If you disable the cpu fallback and don't have enough memory on your GPU to handle the scene it simply won't render or you will get half renders ect. I noticed the same thing. annoying thing is my renders could take (10 minutes with the gpu pushing) but with CPU fallback it's way past 30 minute mark.
