Is there something that can fit g8f clothing on g3f?

(It is a dforce outfit.)

The first thing to try is to change the scene identification.

• Load G3F, click on the background so she isn't selected.
• Load the clothing item and click on it to select it.
• Choose Edit > Object > Scene Identification from the menu
• Click the [...] button next to the "Preferred Base" value, choose G3F from the option tree, and click Accept.

Daz now thinks that bit of clothing is a G3F item, you can fit it to your G3F character like any other G3F clothing.

You can only use this trick to share items between G3 and G8, because those two generations are so similar to eachother.

Don't know that that's the case: I routinely use scene identification to fit g2 clothing (and hair) to G3/G8 figures and vice versa. (Streetwear Sneakers for V6 is my go-to athletic shoe for g3f/m and g8f/m.) Works better on some items than others, but footwear is about the only thing that, more often than not, it doesn't work with.
