Iray preview only gives color-shaded

Hi everyone, 

I am new to Daz3D (just started today). Been going through tutorials until one about Iray preview and how it's useful. Mine seems to have a problem though as it only gives me color-shaded, and the bar below just loads and loads forever. 

Am I doing something wrong? I tried to google the answer but could not find anything.

I doubt it's a graphic card problem cause I just bought a 2060 super for this.

Appreciate any help.

    I think it's quite likely to be a graphic card problem - it doesn't sound like your is being used.

    On the Render Settings tab, click on "Advanced" in the top left. Under "Hardware," make sure that your graphics card is ticked in both boxes, and cpu isn't.

    Also check that your drivers are up-to-date, old drivers can also cause the "load forever" issue.

    Iray-preview is slow even on my i7-5820K, 64GB, RTX2070Super 8GB @1920x1200 - Takes up to 2 minutes to update the preview after each and every change made.
