Daz to Blender Bridge Importing Deletes objects?

Hi guys, I'm a noob when it comes to 3D software. I tried something today but it didn't work as I expected it to, is it just normal or is something wrong? Is there a way to do what I intended?

I made a scene with some props and stuff in Blender. I posed a character in Daz. When I imported my DAZ to Blender, the pose I set disappeared and the rig was in T-Pose again. Also, all the objects in my scene were gone, except for my collections folders and their hierarchy.

Is that normal? If so, any idea how I can put a posed character in the Blender Scene I built?

  • I'd absolutely love it if anyone knows the solutoin to this problem! I actually encountered the same issue today. If I find a workaround, I'll let you know!

  • Same here, I'm getting an issue where when I import an animation the character scales down in the first few frames or completely disappears when importing into Blender

Well sending anything over any bridge is not suppose to result in anything being deleted!

I would suggest clearing the log report [so it's not going to be overly long], repeat the process ... then copy all that info in the log report - paste it into a text file and post it here. Then somebody who knows how to read it might be able to provide some guidance.

I am not that somebody. I tried the D/S to Blender bridge when it first came out. It would make a file to a certain folder. Then in Blender we would import that file from that folder. It was not a direct bridge link like what exists between D/S and Hexagon.

There is also a forum for Blender that you might want to move this all over to. [can be done by editing the first post, changing the location].
