Would Poser Debut be useful to a DAZ Studio user?

I have DAZ Studio 4.6, 64-bit.

There is an opportunity for me to purchase Poser Debut in the UK (from Serif), cut-price until this Friday 20th June at 5pm UK time.

I have never used Poser, and from a comparison chart it looks like the Debut version is missing a lot, but it is cheap!

So my question is, would it be useful for me to have Poser Debut in addition to DAZ Studio?

Also any info would be helpful about compatibility of Poser files from DAZ downloads with the Debut version.

Am I right in thinking that DSON importer for Poser is incompatible with Poser Debut due to the absence of Python?

I am sorry about the relative urgency of the question, it is just that the special offer only has a day to run!

    Yes, without Python none of the DSON items will work.

    Over at Renderosity they have Poser 10 for $50 (US) right now. You can find it from their home page...
