Studio and DIM simply close on login

I'm running D/S 4.12 and the most recent version of DIM (as of about four days ago). If I decided to work offline, they run for as long as I need them. The moment I try to log in, the program(s) simply close. No warning that something went wrong, just off.
I'm capable of doing other things online (as evidenced by the fact that I'm writing this on the very machine that shows this behavior).
It's a Dell Inspiron 3593, which has an Intel card in it, so I know that iRay is right out.
Let me know what other information you need and I'll see if I can find it.

The DS log is called log, txt, in Windows it's located at "C:\Users\[your name]\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\Studio4" for the general release ("...\Studio4 Public Build" for the beta)
DIM has 2 logs, log.txt and hlog.txt, in Windows they're in "C:\Users\[your name]\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\InstallManager"
Can you post the last 20 lines of each?
I'm having the same problem. I've just got a new laptop. Here is the last 20 lines of my DS log:
Here are the last 20 or so lines of my DIM Hlog:
This is the last 20 lines of the DIM log:
Here's the DS log last 21 lines (didn't know if the top line was important for this):
Interesting thing - I have no hlog.txt, possibly because it won't properly start. However, the last 20 lines for DIM's log,txt are:
The C drive is an SSD drive - my actual library that I save to in the 1 TB D: HDD, if that turns out to be important as well.
ETA: Don't know why that last quoted line is a separate thing.
In both cases it sounds like the install didn't complete successfully. You need to contact Daz, file a support ticket and explain what is wrong, include the whole log files as attachments. They are likely going to tell you fully uninstall and reinstall.
Thank you. I've sent a support ticket with the log files.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but so far it's made no difference. I wonder if it has something to do with installing Studio via the new Daz Central app? The reason I tried downloading DIM is because Daz Central doesn't seem to have downloaded, or even listed, a lot of the products I already own such as some of the Genesis models. This means I can't use some of the assets I've bought.
Thank you for your help, Kenshaw. I'll wait for support to reply
I think the install was partial and that uninstalling normally doesn't remove everything you need to remove to get an install to work. You're likely going to need someone with access to the full details of the install to work out what is wrong and how to manually fix it.
DazCentral could easily be the issuee. It is new and has had numerous issues. I do not approve pushing out a product in such an early stage of development as the primary source for new users to get assets.
I need to learn how to COMPLETELY remove all references to DAZ from the registry as well, I think, when I uninstall the programs. I have done the uninstall, deleted directories involved with it, and deleted a registry section most closely tied to DAZ. When I tried a re-install, it STILL had my personal library location, which is non-standard (258 GB SSD C: and 1 TB HDD D: so I used D:)
Is it possible that it simply can't properly be run on an Inspiron 3593? I opened a ticket, and the only notes in it are from me - apparently the DAZ staff are either overwhelmed, or REALLY confused about my issue. Be nice if they actually commented in the thread for it, though.
