Hi, thanks for the invitation. I am a retired 'Oldie' and now have some time to spend learning CG. I have always been fascinated by this type of art right back to a time before PCs when it was referred to as 'Fantasy Art' I liked very much the work of Roger Dean who did many album covers in the 60s and 70s. Anyone remember him? He did some great work on the 'Yes' albums. The fantasy world will continue to be my main interest as I continue to learn.

I am a retired oldie too, and there are quite a few around the forums here. I'm sure you will soon find others with similar interests, and we have a New Users Forum where you can post any queries that you may have. It is more strictly regulated than the other forums, so don't be afraid to post your questions, we all had to start somewhere.

Welcome to the DAZ forums Robert. I wasn't familiar with Roger Dean, but I just Googled him, and that's quite an impressive gallery he has on his site.

As Jimmy mentioned, any questions you have, post them in the New Users Form, and I'm sure someone will be able to help. :coolsmile:

Hmm... Retired, check. Olde, check. Into the old art like discussed, check. Even have loads of content to do the art in that style with, check. Think I belong here. Maybe one day I'll even render something along those lines, or maybe a frazetta style one or a...
