Hello everyone!
Looking at newly created plugins (Daz to Blender etc) should Daz users expect Daz to UE4 (5) plugin? Maybe Live link?
Can you tell if it is in the plans or in development?
Waiting for an answer

I'm not saying anything, but: https://github.com/daz3d/DazToUnreal

Does it support pose-driven JCMs? Please say yes :)

Yes it does.  I've used it.  You can see the blueprint for driving the JCMs in Unreal after installing it.  It'll soon support high resolution base mesh too (right now FBX export is base mesh cage), though I didn't check in for a few weeks to see how that's going (David has a Discord where you can ask him questions).  David's material is a bit heavy for my tastes though but the eyes look great.  The hair I tried works as well.  It's only £37 on the Unreal store.  It's still in development so expect further updates in future.

There's also a github fork of Google Filament there so I hope this means that DAZ didn't abandon the idea of adding Filament as a render option.

Thanks! I'll put it on my growing list of things to play around with.

  • David's page on JCM for the plugin he's been selling so probably part of the new one. http://davidvodhanel.com/daz-to-unreal-jcm-examples/

Well that's new... and interesting.  Daz bought David out apparently.  I'm guessing it's going to be released for free alongside all of the other "bridges", which also appear to be free now (Daz to 3DSMax, Daz to Blender, Daz to Maya)!  When did this happen and where's the thread for it?!

I mean in general, a lot of free integration products in a row.  And did I notice some new forum sections for 3DS Max, Maya and Blender, or am I imagining it?  Perhaps we'll get one for Unreal Engine/Unity too.  Looks like this hit sometime in July.  Very nice Daz.  I've always said, though disclaimer I'm not an accountant, there must be money in seamless (relative terms) Daz content integration with these other products.

  • Those are for the plugins that are out and other topics about those programs were moved into them when the plugins were released. It was July.

  • That's the one done by David. He's apparently working on a new one for the Daz Bridge to Unreal.
