Dynamic clothing?

This is my first post, and I have a question. I bought a piece of Dynamic Clothing from the store for my Victoria 4.2, and I downloaded and installed it with the Manager, but in the Studio I can't find it. Can someone give me an idea as to where it might be and how I can put it on my figure? I wanted to try it with morphs and see how it works, but I can't do that if I can't find the piece of clothing I wanted to try it out with and spent my good money on. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Which item is it that you bought? Most DC items for V4 will be found in Content Library under My Library\\People\Victoria 4\Dynamic Clothing
I tried it out and it worked. Thanks! Now how do I make it animate/conform to the morphs? I bought the Dynamic Bikini for DAZ Studio. When I try to morph it, the body covers up the clothing instead of the clothing moving with it.
Ok, let's take this slowly ...
The item being for V4 should conform (fit to) V4, so when you load it check under the Misc settings of the Parameters section. If you are using a Genesis or Genesis 2 Female figure (with the V4 morphs applied it's a little different).
The majority of DC items are 'rigged' so that they will follow, in a general/loose sense the posing of the underlying figure they are 'fitted to'.
DC items will tend not to follow morph applications as, unlike the 'usual' clothing items they will only adjust themselves when they are 'draped'. They also tend not to do too well with extreme morphs as they follow more real-life clothing attributes (think of a gentleman putting on a pair of trousers that have a nice fit. Now expand his waistline by an extra eight inches ... things are not going to go well ...). You'll need to experiment with your morphs to see how they affect things. But don't panic yet!
Best results with DC items comes from using the animated option when draping.
Load V4
Load DC item (and check is is 'fit to' V4).
In Pose tab open up the Timeline if not already visible (either click on the little arrow in the bottom middle of the screen, or Windows> Panes (Tabs)> Timeline).
Move timeline pointer to frame 25.
Select V4 and pose her and apply morphs you wish to use.
Set pointer back to frame 0.
In Dynamic Clothing tab make sure 'Animated' radio button is selected, and click on Drape.
You may well wish to 'rinse and repeat' until you are happy with the end result.
Once happy, click on the 'context menu' of the DC tab (little square in top right of tab, with 4 horizontal lines and a small black triangle) and select 'Freeze Simulation'. This will convert the DC item into an object and stop any further dynamics working on it.
