RSSY Hair Converters

Has anybody tried the RSSY hair converters on hair pre-Victoria 4?   I have always liked the Petite Fleur Hair, but it was made for a Victoria 3.0 base.  I've seen promo renders where PAs have used it on older figures but I've had little success with that, and as the generations got older it's just taking up space on my HD.  I saw the RSSY hair converters for different generations, and wondered if the one for Victoria 4 to Genesis 8 might work.
