What happened to Animate2?

So I created a bunch of aniblocks for different animation actions in a game I am creating. Each one being a specific number of frames for game purposes.
I had stopped rendering the animations for the characters for a while to work on other parts of the game. Last night I decided I was going to work on the characters some more which should have only consisted of loading the character I've already created, loading which aniblocks I wanted to use and make any small adjustments needed, then render away.
However, every single aniblock I created had the number of frames inflated. What was 8 frames of animation became 23 frames! that made the character that should have only 48 frames total have over 200!
So I started to work, copying my keyframes and pasting them in order at the beginning of the aniblock, then chopping off all the extra frames and resaving. But I found another issue...
Aniblocks used to only modify the last frame in an animation to transition to the next aniblock, now it's the last 3 which really messes up my animation and frame numbers for my game.
So I delete the aniblock from the timeline and reload it (remember I saved it after cutting it back down to 8 frames) but when I put the new saved aniblock into my timeline, it again was inflated to 23 frames >(
This is causing such a heading and tons of extra work that I'm not sure how to actually get what I had before so I can complete my animations.

You do know you need to set the total number of frames on the DAZ Studio timeline before you Send to AniMate to create the AniBlock. If your timeline frame count is 27 but only 22 frames are used for key framing, AniMate will use all 27 frames to fill the total space by padding the frames to fill the frame count fully. This is called the Auto Tween feature of Aniblocks in this use, It also Tweens as much as possible from one AniBlock to the Next to try to match (less foot slide or arm position jerking) as they connect to each other as well.
If you did set the proper amount of frames on the Timeline then I have no clue why this is happening.
Yes, I had all the animations set up beforehand using the correct number of frames and had used the same aniblocks in multiple other characters without issue. There was a Daz update that just downloaded a few days ago and I'm wondering if there wasn't an update to animate as well, or something conflicting.
I just can't understand why it would keep adding all those additional frames into it. When I first loaded the aniblocks, it added maybe 5 or 6 extra frames between each of my keyframes.
So I copied my keyframes and pasted them at the beginning of the animation, then split the aniblock at my last frame. Deleted the extra aniblock and resaved my animation. Closed everything out and re-opened it, dropped in my aniblock and it re-added all those extra frames at the end of the aniblock this time.
So either an update isn't working correctly, or I should just remove everything and re-install fresh?
Check to see if your AniMate 2 is still registered. Look in Help about Plugins.
AniMate2 is a timed use plugin it is the full version for 30 days only. Then it becomes AniMate Lite if you do not buy the Full version and register it with a serial code. It is only free to test for 30 days.
Yeah, I purchased it and registered the code in daz. but I'll check to make sure it's still there.
Are you saving your custom AniBlocks to a Mapped DAZ Studio Format content Folder? You may wish to check that the Update is mapped to all your content folders properly also.
I checked and it's loaded and running. Funny thing is I had Daz completely shut down for quite a while and had stepped away from the computer. everything seems to be working correctly now (crosses fingers) perhaps it was just my pc not loading the plugin correctly? Must have been.
Great to hear. I should have suggested a re-boot. Happy your back to enjoying it.
Thank you. I'm just hoping now that my animations still line up from me buggering around "trying to fix them"
