Are animations broken now in Studio?
Since they added "keymate" features as standard to Daz Studio, the whole thing seems to be broken.
Whenever I try to animate something some properties won't be controlled by keyframes. I always end up having to do hours of extra work because despite copying keyframes, the figure won't be the same. Unless I go in and find the offending properties manually that are not being carried over. When I cope / paste keyframes.
Plus some properties seem to change on their own in the timeline, on keyframes I never touched. Like keyframes aren't actually keyframes even if I manually create them.
Animations are completely borked at this stage, I wasn't able to do anything successful in months, the scene always ends up being broken beyond hope of repair.
This all worked flawlessly while keymate was a separate product.
I'd recommend the animation tool as a property randomizer at this stage.

Please give steps to reproduce the issues you are seeing.
I had to revert to 4.11 to get any animation done. In 4.12.118 I encountered the same kinds of mess that you are dealing with. Some of the issues you describe have already been documented thoroughly in these forums, but life is too short to try to use the forum search function to find those threads.
In one of them Richard has acknowledged some of the animation problems and has said that an update is in the works.
Thanks for the info.
When I try to copy the very first frame of the animation and paste it as the last frame, then change anything in between the first and last frame will no longer match each other. Like keyframes only include properties selectively at random. Some properties simply are ignored by the keyframe at the end.
Did you try 4.12.0.86 ? I don't seem to have any issue with it as for "standard" (non-ik) animation but if you found any I'd be glad to know, thank you.
