Can't Load KAY

I purchased and downloaded Kay and Kay's Leathers. The clothes and poses showed up in my Content Library just fine. But I couldn't find the Actor (KAY). So, figuring I might have missed something I went back and purchased the Kay Bundle. I know I double purchased some items, but I really wanted the model for some motorcycle related graphics I am working on. Anyway, I still can't get the KAY model/actor to display. Yes, I am new to this, but successfully purchased, downloaded and installed other items and characters - such as Victoria. Any help provided will certainly be appreciated. Thanks! JicJac

Oh, when I try to apply a DMR Kay pose to Victoria, I get: Cannot find a file for "/Runtim......../DAZ/Victoria4/Deltas/Morphs++/injDeltas.FBMBodyBuilder.pz2".

I know noobs such as myself can be a pain, but I've struggled with this issue for the past six or eight hours.

Thanks again.

Do you have http://www.daz3d.com/victoria-4-2-morphs and http://www.daz3d.com/victoria-4-2-muscle-morphs as Kay says she needs both of those packs as well as V4.2

Do you have V4.2 morphs++ installed?

I figured the problem had something to do the morphs (based on the pop-ups). Not sure how they work, how I get them, install or use them, but I'll start researching. Thanks for quick and informative responses. Time to pop a brew and toss a couple steaks on the grill. I'll check back in here after a while.

Well at the moment, (and I am not sure how long the promo will last) Morphs++ are on sale at a very reasonable price, and if you intend to use V4.2 you really do need to have them, they are invaluable. http://www.daz3d.com/victoria-4-2-morphs

Double checked.... have all the necessary components - just can't figure out (yet) how to morph Victoria into Kay (assuming that's the goal).

I just noticed this: NOTE: Victoria 4.2 requires Mac OSX 10.3.9 or higher in order to work properly.

Does this mean it won't work on a PC? I've been trying for hours.

No, that's just for Mac users (if any of them are using versions that old).

    Can you load Victoria 4.2.cr2?

fixmypcmike - yerp, Victoria 4.2 with Base Morphs, Legacy... Morphs++ and muscle Morphs loads up real fine. Just can't figure what to do after that.

    1) Load V.. If you use the Powerloader to inject morphs, skip step 2
    2) In Content Library go to Poser Formats > [your content folder] > Pose > DAZ's Victoria 4 > Morph Injections to inject the required morph sets.
    3) In Content Library go to Poser Formats > [your content folder] > Pose > DMR Kay and apply 01Kay Full INJ

Boss, I think I did everything according to your instructions. When I hit 01kay Full INJ, the model image changed a tiny bit (saw it from the corner of my eye). See attachment. And functions like changing lips , etc. seem to function correctly. But when I go to apply something like Kays Bodysuit to the model (which continues to be listed as Victoria 4.2), the clothing does not fit and the character continues to look like Victoria. I also tried 04Kay2 Full INJ, but the model still looks like and lists like Victoria 4.2. I appreciate your time and realize how tedious walking me through this is. If you want to pick it up again tomorrow, it;s fine with me. Much appreciated, JJ.

It will still be labeled in the scene as Victoria , but if it isn't changing shape, make sure you don't have a "Runtime:Libraries:!DAZ:Victoria 4" in both "My Library" and "My DAZ 3D Library".

That should be fine, only the one under !DAZ has to be unique. When you load V4 does the Powerloader window come up?

Yes, the PowerLoader : Import window pops up and asks if I want to accept the V4.2: Base Morphs, Legacy..., Morphs++, and Muscle Morphs. I have them all checked and Accept.

Is the "Generate ExP Files" box checked?

fix, I kicked around in the Advanced settings and may have stumbled across the solution (toggled three or for check boxes). I'm quite fried, so couldn't really clearly describe the exact screens. I'll recreate in the AM and post (if I can re-stumble) what I did that appears to be working. Thanks!

fix, I could not spot the "Generate ExP Files" box. Looked for it. Fatigue has me blurry. I'll give it another good look-see in the AM. Thanks for your superb help/support. JJ

fixmypcmike: Thank you for the support yesterday. I didn't realize how little I know about this product/process. I'm a technical illustrator by trade (more than 40 yrs experience), but animation is a new animal to this old bird. I finally figured out some of the basics and believe I have successfully morphed Kay using Victoria as the starting poing. Phew! If I had of seen it done once, I may not have struggled so much. Now that I've done it, the process seems logical. Again, thank you for the support and patience.
