Genesis2
Ok, so I am going to get deeper into DS. I have V5 Genesis and Genesis2......will the characters that list needing Gen wrk on Gen2? Will V5 or V6 work on Gen2? Also, same questions for clothes? Anyone try exporting from DS to render in Maya? Issues? Do the textures transfer ok or would one need to retexture in Maya? Just starting with Maya and have been curious about rendering figures in it. I haven't learned to moel yet so would rather import a human figure.

Genesis characters won't work on Genesis 2 directly -- textures using the V5/M5 UVsets will work on Genesis 2, and there are products to add other UVsets to Genesis 2. 5th generation characters are for Genesis, 6th generation characters are for G2. GenX2 with the Genesis 2 addon can transfer character shapes to G2.
Genesis clothes will work on G2 using autofit.
