Why is this happening with orders in 'My Cart'?

Hi all,

A strange thing has started happening when I order something by clicking the "add to cart" button.

Usually, the "My Cart" link shows the number of items that have been added by updating the count of items I have clicked on. Recently though, the count has not been updating. When I to go my cart, there's nothing there.

Then when I go back to the item and re-click on the "add to cart" button, I get a message stating that: "The maximum quantity allowed for purchase is 1."

I have tried logging off and logging in again. Nothing.

The item count in my cart is still zero, but I can't add the item because it seems to be reading that I have already added it.

Any ideas?

    Add something else to your cart - you should then see the hidden item, and can remove the extra item (assuming you didn't want it).

    Make sure that you are logged into the Store before adding anything to your cart.

    The forum and the store both have a login feature, just glance at the top right corner before adding to your cart to make sure that it says 'Log Out'. It has happened to me a few times as well.

    That's why this is weird. It's happened before. Not often...maybe twice.

    And I was logged in. I logged out and back in, thinking that may fix it, but it still wouldn't work. Adding a 2nd item to My Cart worked.
