Your telling me that I can't model something (a thing not figure) in Daz3d, then create the real deal?
Modeling lighting placements in a computer, and my hallway (Diffuser light cover to keep the light out of my eyes) was part of my primary reasons for getting Daz 3D.
Granted, I don't have a 3D printer 'here'.
I did plan on making the real stuff at the local machine shop (With metal) after figuring out basic dimensions in daz, then sketching out the finer points on graph paper (I'm old fashioned a bit, I prefer graphite and paper for final project diagrams).

I'm glad I read this before making capacitor and chip parts from primitives to model my analog-circuit ideas.

If you create the models yourself (from primitives or using a modeler) you can 3d print them, you can't 3d print models made by DAZ 3D or PAs.
