Problem with deleted files still showing in Smart Content

Hello,

I previously save a character preset and then subsequently deleted the preset but it is still showing up in the Smart Content windowas a yellow box with an exclamation mark. How do I get rid of it?

    There's an option called something like "removed orphaned references" in the menu for the smart content tab.

    Hi Leana,

    I can't seem to find what you are referencing. Can you explain further or maybe do a screen shot please?

    I didn't remember it correctly, it's in category view in the Content Library tab, not directly in Smart Content (I don't use Smart Content most of the time, to be honest)

    Either search for the file in Categories directly, or right click on the file and use the "Show asset in : Content Library > Mapped folder" command to go there from Smart content

    Then right-click on the file in category view and select "Remove orphaned reference"

    Unfortunately Leana, that is the odd part. They don't show up in the Content Library only under Smart Content. So I can't use your method to delete them because they aren't there. But I do appreciate your help though.
