DForce Femme Fatale Hair G8 doesn't show in Iray viewport

Hello. I'm trying to use this hair https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-femme-fatale-hair-for-genesis-3-and-8-females

The problem is that I can't preview what it looks like in Iray in the viewport. There must be some kind of parameter for me to switch on, but I have yet to find it. Can anyone help? Thank you.

In the Parameters there are (2 if I remember right) settings that must be 'On'. I think the group is named Simulation > Preview.

I've looked in the parameters tab and can't find an option like that.

I had forgotten that you have to select the hair, not the hair cap, ie first expand the hair in the scene tab.

Even then, not every hair seems to have that option. I had Volta hair loaded into a scene when I saw this thread, so I looked into it, and I couldn't find that setting (“pr preview hairs”, or something to that effect) on either the scalp or the hair.

Parameter is called "preview PR hair", under General > line tesselation section, and you may need to increase "viewport line tesselation sides" too.

I've tried turning that parameter on and off, still not showing.

You also have to check that the preview line tesselation has a value above 1.

Ah, that did it! Thank you very much.
