Daz import into Carrara 8.5 skeleton problem

Hi I have a problem

I have looked around and search but not seen this issue yet.

Basically I created a custom character from the M4 base and it has certain parts like a helmet and boots that are from Share CG. They conform to the M4 model and are parented correctly in Daz 4.6. I can even import my mocap bvh files and the character will work flawlessly.

The issue is when I want to put the character into Carrara 8.5 pro. Basically For the non standard parts that were from Share CG, they each import with a separate skeleton rig instead of being merged to the M4 figure. This is not an issue in daz at all. If I were to apply the BVH motion, the motion would apply only to the M4 base. and the other parts would either not animate or follow wierd trajectories which tells me they are partially parented to the M4.

Does anybody know how to merge the skeletons either in Daz or Carrara or how to re-parent the parts so they work correctly?

In Daz, Some of these parts I had to resize and drop into the right place, while others I used the Fit To. Maybe that is what is causing this?
