Help with missing files and unusable materials

So I downloaded some of the freebies I got from Daz Studio and tried to use them, but the character files (head, skin, etc) would give missing .dsf file errors regardless of Genesis model (2,3, and 8). Materials I downloaded just don't show up. They show up in the log file as applied, but just don't appear at all. The base Daz 3D stuff all works though leading me to think its a file issue rather than pathing. Any suggestions on what I should do to fix these issues?

    Can you post a link to an item that gives errors, and a copy of the errors?

    Materials are just presets which change the surface settings of an object. If you use a material file for a dress it won't load the dress, you're supposed to load the dress first then apply the material to it.

    "Missing dsf" errors when loading a character make me think you are missing some required morphs the character uses.

    Thanks for that info. That helped me with a fair bit of the issues I had. The character issues are still there, but thats not too much of an issues as the materials were.

    If you look at the Azumi product, you can see that it says 'Required Product: Aiko 5', meaning that it is using Aiko 5 morphs, and if you do not have that you will get the listed error.

    Azumi also uses the A5 UVs apparently, not just the morph.

    Ah ok that makes sense. I'd have to get the morphs and the A5 UVs for the product to be of use it seems.
