Unwanted subtle red and green horizontal stripes on figure in iray render. [solved]

I am getting unwanted, subtle red and green horizontal stripes on s figure in an iray render.Their placement and widths appear to be random. (Image attached.) This has never happend to me before in thousands of renders. What possibly could be the cause of them? How can I stop them from occurring?

    They are so subtle that I really can't see them at all on that image at any magnification level. Sorry.

    Which leads me to something else. Is it worth looking at a few of your older renders and checking them for striping? If they now exhibit it, maybe the screen or graphics card is going up the creek.

    Thank you for your response, Richard. I think you are correct. I was looking at the render remotely over RDP. That does image processing of its own to reduce data bandwidth for interaction with a remote screen. Upon downloading the rendered image to a local computer and viewing it there, the banding was gone.  I greatly appreciate your taking the time to help me out with this!
