Beauty Canvas - Rendering a Scene Without Rendering Background

Is there a way to render all foreground scene items but not the background/environment - i.e., a scene that:

1) Uses all the scene lighting + environment lighting but has these hidden from view

2) Shows shadows interacting with the background environment but background environments are completely hidden from view (e.g., background is an invisible shadow catcher)

I ask because my Scene tab has all items set to visible, meanwhile, I only have the foreground items selected as nodes in my canvas Node List,  however, the whole canvas just renders completely blank.

Not sure what im missing here.

Nevermind, i just repeated render and it is working fine now.  Perhaps i did not have Canvas1 selected as my Active Canvas. (Even though as you can see i only have one canvas, so not sure what happened)
