My ship disappeared! (solved)

I am working with the Marmara Boat and it shows up fine in the texture shaded view when viewing through the stock Daz Studio camera. 

But when I try and view the boat through the view of a stock Daz Studio spotlight so I can focus the light in the right place the boat completely vanishes.

It reappears when I switch back to camera view.

Any help on this would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!

I think I solved it, when I view through the spotlight and I click on the boat to select it in the scene pane and then click the "view" square thingie, it reappears.

Weird.
