Stuck on Upgrading CMS

I downloaded daz a while ago, and now when I try to load it up it just gives the Upgrading CMS message and doesn't load. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, which didn't do anything, and since none of the forums posts on this topic actually give an answer on how to resolve the issue, I would appreciate any help I could get.

How did you install, and are you using the default paths or did you change them?

  • I installed using the link on this website, and I have messed with the paths in the install manager to try and open third party content with it. I thought I'd changed it back to default, but maybe not.

So that was using Daz Central?

  • I redownloaded it and opened it through Daz Central, yes.

OK, and so you are using Windows. If you go to

    %AppData%/daz 3d/cms/

(you can just paste that in the address bar of a file browser) do you see a json file and a ContentCluster folder?

  • Yes, both of those are there.

  • The problem does not seem to have fixed itself and I could still use some help on what to do.

So, you are using Windows? Please open the JSON file in a text editor (e.g. Notepad) and paste its contents here.
