Dragon folk material issue

The material is not rendering on the heads of dragon folk characters. Material renders fine on the rest of the character just not the head.

    This set https://www.daz3d.com/millennium-dragon-folk ? That's pretty old, pre-Daz Studio.

I see the same thing in Iray, renders fine in 3DL.  I don't see any reason why on a quick look at the material properties.

Image Gamma for the head skin, beak and ears is set to 1.0 instead of 0.0, then jiggle the diffuse strength a bit, then back to 100%.

Open the Surfaces tab, then with the Surface Selection Tool, click on the face, beak and ears surfaces (ctrl-click to select multiple surfaces), and then click on the little image on the left of Diffuse Color. Select Image Editor (they all use the same image, so you only need to do it once) and move the Gamma slider to 0.0. Accept and move the slider any amount, and then back to 100% to refresh the shader, otherwise it stays white. I guess it needs a wakeup call...

Glad to help. Don't forget to save as a new material preset if you want to use it again, not that it would be very difficult to re-do.

I rematerialed this guy in about 5 minutes using a product called,

"Bone and Fantasy Scale Iray Shaders."

This is still a rather unique figure if you asked me.
