I am new to the cg community and I have visited a site called cgshare, I have downloaded some content but I am haveing the most difficult time trying to load the content into my daz studio smart content folder on my mac. PLEASE HELP?

    Do you mean sharecg.com, rather than cgshare? Which version of the mac OS - older versions have an extra wrinkle for installing content as they don't merge folders by default.

    Yes sharecg, I have osx mavericks I bought in 2013

    Most third party content comes without any metadata (used for smart content), you need to browse using the Content Directory Browser to find it.
