Can you modify an HD figure with imported morphs or mix with other daz figures?

Yes, you can mix HD morphs with other morphs.

It isn't the figure that's HD, just the morph - the figure is the same one as before, with it's standard material, morph and pose options but it's also been given a moprh that works on it in the high-resolution subdivided state. We can't, however, edit the HD morphs themselves or create new ones for ourselves.

    Thank you

That is exactly what I was looking for.

    Hi,

Just wondering whether the basic G2M and G2F could use the HD at the moment ?

    Thanks

If it's a standalone HD morph, yes. For things like Victoria 6 HD, they are refinements of the basic Victoria 6 shape and so won't work as designed, if at all, without Victoria 6.

    Thanks Richard,

Anyway i'm still a bit confused by all of this...

    So actually, we can buy V6 And V6HD, S6 and S6HD, M6 and M6HD, ...

I was just wondering whether both G2F and G2M would have their HD version released in a near future

The HD products are additional, more finely detailed, morphs - they are the same base figure, but DS is doing something behind the scenes to move the additional points generated by the sub-division algorithm, instead of being limited to moving the base mesh as a regular morph does. So, yes, someone (DAZ or a PA) could make a set of HD detail morphs that were designed to work on the base mesh as well as or instead of one of the named shapes.
