Lost access to ALL content since installing Beta version

Hi - how can I get content into my DS Beta version? Since installing it (to avoid issues with the Smart Pane and vanishing content!) I have access to nothing... kind of ironic...

I'm sure it's a simple process but I don't know what that is. :down:

    Check in the Directory Manager to be sure your Content folder is mapped. It should be mine was.
    Then go to the Content DB Maintenance menu and do a Re-Import of your Metadata.
    The Beta uses its own Database controller to stay 100% separate from the FULL version on your PC.

    The beta doesn't share settings with the general release, so you need to set up your content folders.

    Hmmm... maybe I should have mentioned that I'm on a Mac. I'm not understanding any of this, Jaderail

    fixmypcmike - set up content folders? Is there documentation on this?

    I feel like I waded into a swamp when I just wanted to keep my Smart Pane from crashing...

    On the Content Library pane click on the Options menu (rectangle with horizontal lines in the upper corner) > Content Directory Manager
    Make sure the folders listed for DAZ Studio Formats and Poser Formats match what you had in the general release.

    DAZ Studio has the SAME folders on a Mac as a PC. Just some in different Menus...
