Installed and shows up...Only problem is when I click on it get error
cannot located Doc\Settings\.myDoc/Dazd/studio/content. Did a search
and this folder does not exsist....Program will not open w/o it.

So frustrating...Also seems when I open anything and try to render
program just crashes....Using WinXP 32 bit....

Daz 4.6 is NOT user friendly. and totally sensitive to where files
are installed. Still have no clue why everything cannot be installed
as Daz 3 was...Content...period....

32Bit PC's are limited to 4Gb of Ram, that limits greatly what DAZ Studio can do. The newest versions are going to use up the free Ram on a 32bit system very fast. LAMH uses loads of RAM even when installed properly.

A clean install of DAZ Studio works well on many 32bit systems but what can be done will be limited. I never said do not use it. Just it will be limited. I do not have LAMH installed to my 32Bit version, I have it installed for easy lipsync, so I can not check were that file should be.
And Even on my PC the 32bit version is limited I just use very little in a scene when I use 32bit.

I'm not sure but XP may need some libraries before DS4 will run. If it does they are free ones and just click installs. I'll ask around for you. I know a few OS guru types.

EDIT: It appears it should just open and run for you on XP as long as the Griphic drivers are up to date and support the DAZ Studio needs.
Here is the Specs for whats needed to run DS4+....

The only change between DS3 and DS4.6 content wise is that the content folder called Content was renamed...period. I don't see the same problems as you. Does DS4.6 know where to look, are the directories set up properly in DS4.6?

Hi Pete. The Issue seems to be DAZ Studio is failing on run. If I'm reading this right.

    Daz4.6 shows up...Content library also....

Initally I had it installed to another drive .Deleted and installed where it wanted
to go.(main drive) Must admit I do have another drive with a Daz content folder on another drive. Same with
Poser purchases. All goes to this drive to their own folder.

Problem is I think my main drive is E...My C drive died..had backup drive and installed. So C is no longer
main but computer made E when winXP was installed.

    Does this make sense?

So E: is the Default OS drive, your PC boots from E: in plan none tech speak. If DAZ is installed default it should be on E: now from what you said, if so that still should work as its a OS Command drive. Your content folder can be anyplace on any drive as long as the Path(s) are mapped properly in the DAZ Studio Pref's.
The Question we have now is it LAMH that is not liking the E: drive for its install. That one I do not know.

All that aside. You could/can use DAZ Studio and content if LAMH is not installed? Or not even then? Knowing this may help me help you.
