Is it possible to give away or trade a model/prop, etc.? Obviously, DAZ doesn't want us to duplicate and spread the programs we've purchased, but how about transferring ownership to another member? A friend and I have separate accounts and would like to swap a couple of items.

You would need to ask DAZ 3D about that one, they are the only ones who can answer your question.

Please use the Help > Contact Us link at the top of this page, and be as specific as possible with your question.

That is not allowed as per the EULA, which you agreed to before you downloaded your products.

    I quote

Content License. DAZ grants to User and User hereby accepts, subject to the limitations and obligations of this Agreement, a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Content, duly obtained by payment of all applicable license fees, as provided in this Agreement.

    Note that says non-transferable

I understand. No harm in asking. How many people really read through the fine print? If I was determined to do something illegal, I wouldn't have written anything!

It's actually the very first clause in the license agreement. (The EULA) http://www.daz3d.com/eula

And yes, it is nice when people do ask.

Awe, I was hoping to will my little collection to my daughter....Guess that settles it, I'm not allowed to die! Or get a different hobby. I'll agree to anything and everything in an EULA and never read any of it. 1. Sell us your first born for $1.00. 2. Give me a kidney. 3. Leave this little box in the local post office... Yep, AGREED ALREADY!

Dose that also include, a gift (Christmas/birthday)? say if I want to purchase something for my brother, and not give him unlimited access to my accounts? It's something I had thought of as a mere curiosity?

You can purchase a Gift Certificate, and give that to the person instead. They can then buy any item they want, and they will have the normal EULA rights to it.
