Hello everyone,

I had DS 4.5 I think one or two years ago, and yesterday I have downloaded 4.6, but I can not use Genesis it makes blocks (Photos), I have Aiko 3 who is working.
I used DAZ Install Manager to install everything.

Thanks in advance for your help :)

Your Content is not Mapped properly. The two default folders need mapped like this. Then exit DS and go back. All should then work...

This looks like a similar issue to another thread.

I don't know if they figured it out or not. What path did Genesis get installed in?
    in Stereo, lol.

Uninstalling and reinstalling DS won't fix this, as that doesn't affect your settings or content.
Did you install Genesis Starter Essentials?
Can you post a screenshot of your Content Directory Manager?

    Shit I deleted everything,
but now I am re-downloading everything, so I will post photos asap (because my wifi is so slow :( takes age to download things )

Regarding Genesis starter Essentials, I was installed.
What shall I verified or be careful with when I'll be installing DS?

Here is my Content Directory Manager's screenshot.
Shall I install all of them?

    I received this message

Install Manager cannot find a required path. The installer for "Photoshop 3D Bridge for DAZ Studio 4.5+ (Win 64-bit)" requires that the installed path for "Photoshop CS6, CS5, CS4 (64-bit)" be defined. Make sure that a path for this application is present on the "Applications" page of the "Settings" dialog, then try again.

You don't need the PoserCF's if you aren't using Poser. GoZ is only needed if you own ZBrush, 3D Bridge only if you have Photoshop. The rest you should install.

Well I re-installed it and same problems (Fxxk),
I noticed I have two folder in My document:
    _ Daz 3D
    _ My Daz 3D Library

So what shall I do, ??
I still have a message saying "Missing file" Genesis dsf.

My computer is running under Win 8, but I don't think this is the probleme.

Content installed with DIM goes to My DAZ 3D Library by default. If you want it to install to another location you need to set that up in DIM. Just make sure that folder is set up in your content directory in DS in both DAZ Studio Format and Poser Format

I'm glad it's now working. For future reference, what you posted was the list of content types from the DAZ Install Manager - The Content Directory Manager is in DAZ Studio and tells it where to look for files - you can open it in DS by going to Edit>Preferences, switching to the Content Library tab, and clicking the button labelled Content Directory Manager.

    Hi,

well I spent the night making 3d; it was sooooo great.

BUT, I still have old fie who are not in Daz Install Manager ( but on my HDD)
and when I try to install them in the correct file My document -> My Daz Studio Library, it doesn't appear,
but Public Documents -> My daz studio Library , is there thus I select this one, I start to install the content manually
    and the result is ...

It is best to always be logged in on your computer as Administrator and to run DIM as Administrator.
