Having trouble with Victoria 4 to Genesis 2 Female Plugin

Does anyone know how to utilize this plugin well? Like know how to use it? I'm really confused on the whole idea on how to convert stuff into DUF files and using poses and morphs from Victoria 4 to Victoria 6. I'm using Poser 10 and I'm not sure if that is my problem right there. If anyone can help me I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks.

These are "behind the scenes" files ... when trying to load V4 clothing on to G2, the autofit should pop up and now there'll be the option to choose V4 as the "which figure was this made for" option.

The V4 UV set option should be appearing on the Surface Tab when G2 is selected, as an option for which UV set one is wanting to use.

And the figure shape, if I recall correctly [on another computer] is on the shape tab and/or parameters tab somewhere.

The bit about changing the files to .duf is a D/S thing between the older versions of D/S and present edition. The older mats have to be remade so the new program can read them for the G2 figure(s).

Yes all that is correct... only the texture files will need the user to save them in DUF format to be used on the V6. The rest is built into the software if installed properly.

To Change a V4 texture to DUF format just load V4 or a Genesis 1, it defaults to V4 UV, apply the texture to it. Then just open the Surfaces TAB select all the Zones at once. Then in Files Menu do Save As> Material Preset. Name it and SAVE the file INSIDE your DAZ Studio folders. I often Just Save it into the Original Folder with a Extra G2F added at the end.

To convert material presets to duf:
    Load V4 (or Genesis1 if you don't have V4)
    Apply the material preset (.dsa/.dsb/.dse/.ds/.pz2/.mc6)
File > Save As > Material Preset

But all of this stuff I have to do I can't do in Poser? Or it must be done all in Daz Studio cause I have NEVER used Daz Studio at all. I've only used Poser.

I'm afraid the conversion to duf has to be done in DS, AFAIK.
