How get back Viewport in the middle area after unintended undock?

help please, I accidentially moved the viewport from the mifddle of the mainscreen and now its floating in a separate window. I can drag and dock it to the left and right area where Pupeteer and scene info resides but seem not able to get it into the area that's now filled with a grey space.

If you drag by the top bar up to the top of the empty area you should see a highlight line pop-up at the top - when you do release the mouse pointer and it should dock (as long as the option to lock docking/undocking isn't off in the Window>Workspace menu). You can also reset the lasyout using Window>Workspace>Select Layout.

Now, that would seem the intuitive way to do it. But, as explained, I can do this with the left and right panes or groups but since the middle one's empty it stays an undocked pane after letting the mouse button. I do not get this pop up...?

AHHH, never mind. I missed the part dragging the op bar instead of the tab! Stupid me, thanks so much.
