Head is on ground when exporting custom model from Daz3D

I am having trouble importing this custom Genesis 8 model into Unreal Engine.

For some reason her head is not part of her body and is instead on the ground.

I have had a few friends say it might be an issue where her head has no root bone so the lowest level bone went to the 0,0,0 point.

  • Are you trying to make the head separate and swappable?  Or is it maybe a second object in the Daz Scene?

    you can drag the head up in the animations and key frame it on the first frame if it's parented to the neck

    do it for all of the third person ones used in the animation blueprint
