I want to make the I-ray emission surface invisible, but keep the light. I'm not talking about actual lights where you have the lovely render emitter option. I am talking about the I-Ray emmisive surfaces you can ony control through the surfaces tab. So, basically, is there a command that does the same thing as Render Emiter does for lights. If I reduce the opacity or visiblity options of the surface, the light goes with it. Is there some trick I'm not seeing? LOL Thanks.

That is what ghost lights do :

Change the Cutout option at the bottom of the surfaces tab to 0.0001.
Switching the cutout opacity did the trick, thanks. However, at the settings you sugessted the light stayed on but there was a swarm of fireflys leftover in the shape of the light emitter. But its all good. I just kept adding zeros to the setting and each time I did, more of the fireflys (white dots) dissapeared. I finally ended up with a Cutout Opacity of 0.0000001 and the last of the dots vanished while the light stayed. Thank you.
